Job summary

Adani Ports and SEZ in Mundra is seeking a seasoned Security Manager to lead site security, risk assessment, and incident response. You will oversee CCTV operations, access control, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a safe, compliant, and resilient environment.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Security Management and at least 6 years in security, with at least 1 year in I&V or related fields.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end site operations, ensure compliance with SOPs and operating model.
• Conduct internal patrols using CCTV and document findings.
• Supervise access control, manage issuance/deactivation of access cards for visitors.
• Oversee traffic operations with vehicle and cargo checks using GPS/RFID tools.
• Act as first responder to crises, emergencies and incidents.
• Incorporate security inputs into strategic objectives and roadmaps.
• Recommend operating model and SOP designs for integration.
• Assess empanelled partners and manage performance with Site Security Head.
• Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance security.
• Lead and mentor the security team to ensure growth and safety.

Job Purpose: In charge - Security is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the organization. This role involves planning and overseeing the collection, collation, interpretation, and dissemination of valued and authentic information that directly or indirectly impacts the organization, ensuring a secure and resilient environment.

Responsibilities

• Site Operations Oversight: Manage end-to-end site operations, guaranteeing compliance with the operating model and SOPs, and guide the team on handling exceptions.
• Surveillance And Patrol: Conduct internal patrols using CCTV and document findings, maintaining a high level of security vigilance.
• Access Control Management: Supervise the Access Control team, ensuring process adherence, and manage the issuance and deactivation of access cards for various visitors.
• Traffic Operations Supervision: Oversee business traffic operations, including authorization checks of vehicles and cargoes using GPS and RFID tagging tools.
• Crisis Response: Act as the first responder to crises, emergencies, and incidents, managing exceptions and ensuring swift and effective action.
• Strategic Operations Integration: Incorporate operational inputs into the business’s strategic objectives and security roadmap, ensuring that site-specific needs are addressed.
• Operating Model And SOP Design: Offer recommendations for the design of the operating model and SOPs, ensuring that operational processes are effectively integrated.
• Partner Performance Management: Collaborate with the Site Security Head to assess and manage the performance of empanelled partners, building strategic relationships.

Qualifications
