Job summary

GMR Group seeks an experienced PPA Management professional to support long‑term/medium‑term PPAs with Discoms, ensuring contractual compliance and dispute resolution aligned with the Annual Operating Plan.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, prepare invoices, and monitor payments via PRAAPTI Portal to maximize recovery and timely reporting. 4–6 years of relevant experience is required.

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of relevant experience.
  • BE/B.Tech or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in power purchase agreements (PPAs) with Discoms.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and tariff frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly invoices for all GWEL PPAs.
  • Ensure timely submission of invoices and responses.
  • Calculate impact and prepare supplementary invoices for change in law claims.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams and document support for CIL/CPT claims.
  • Draft replies for timely communication and PPA compliance timelines.
  • Track payments in PRAAPTI Portal regularly.
  • Prepare MIS on sales, billing and collections.
  • Monitor power supply position and coordinate with plant team for scheduling.
  • Maximize revenue from existing PPAs and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Maintain data integrity and timely reports.
  • Track sale of untied power and generate invoices and performance metrics.

Job description

Job Purpose

Support in managing long term/ medium term power purchase agreements with Discoms, meeting contractual compliances, dispute resolution/ reconciliation and achieve revenue targets in line with Annual Operating Plan (AOP)

Key Accountabilities
  • Preparation of monthly invoices for all GWEL PPAs
  • Timely submission
  • Impact calculation and preparation of supplementary invoices for submission of change in law claims for GWEL Zero non-compliance
  • Coordination with cross-functional team and compilation of all supporting documents w.r.t CIL/CPT claim Timelines
  • Preparing draft replies for timely communication and meeting overall PPA compliances Timelines
  • Keeping track of payments received and updated in the PRAAPTI Portal on regular basis Timelines
  • Preparation of MISs w.r.t sales, billing and collection on timely manner
  • Timelines and Accuracy
  • Regularly track the power supply position and coordination with plant team for scheduling of power
  • Maximize revenue from the existing PPAs
  • Data management, Performance analysis and timely generation of reports
