Omnicom Global Solutions (OGS) India seeks an Associate Manager for Alteryx Automation & AI Solutions. Strong accounting and analytics skills will support global agency finance teams.

You will lead Alteryx workflows, automate reporting, and drive data-driven decisions across SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, and APIs with strong communication and project leadership.

Formación

• Graduate or above degree in data analytics, IT, or accounting domain.

• Expert-level Alteryx skills for data blending, transformation, and automation.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Alteryx workflows to automate data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Build scalable, modular workflows supporting enterprise-wide requirements and automate recurring financial reporting.
• Develop data pipelines using Alteryx Connectors and APIs; integrate data from SQL Server, SharePoint Online, Azure, Snowflake and flat files.
• Partner with Finance to understand requirements and streamline close activities, reconciliations, and data consolidation.
• Lead automation initiatives, mentor juniors, and document standards for governance and quality.
• Develop Python-based components to extend Alteryx workflows and support AI-enabled automation.

Role Overview

OGS India is seeking Associate Manager - Alteryx Automation & AI Solutions with strong accounting and analytical skills to help support the business finance teams that continues to deliver strong financial performance. This might be a great fit if you have a strong fair knowledge of analytical and accounting skills and would like to be part of a growing team. You will be closely working with our Global Agency Finance teams.

As a Specialist skilled in both data analysis and data modeling. The candidate is expected to have expert-level Alteryx skills for data preparation, automation, and transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. Building analytical apps, macros, process re-engineering using Alteryx. We are also looking for a candidate with strong communication skills who is comfortable with presenting and proposing their own solutions and ideas. This role drives strategic decisions through data-driven recommendations.

Responsibilities

Alteryx Development & Automation

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain sophisticated Alteryx workflows to automate data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Build scalable, reusable, and modular workflows that support enterprise-wide business requirements.
• Deploy, schedule, monitor, and optimize workflows through Alteryx Server.
• Administer Alteryx Gallery, Collections, user permissions, and workflow governance.
• Troubleshoot workflow failures, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
• Automate recurring financial, accounting, and operational reporting processes to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
• Develop complex data transformation logic involving multiple data sources, advanced formulas, joins, unions, aggregations, and iterative macros.
• Create and maintain standard, batch, and iterative macros to improve workflow reusability and performance.
• Identify opportunities to replace spreadsheet-based processes and repetitive manual tasks with automated solutions.
• Establish development standards, documentation practices, and workflow design best practices.

Data Integration & Enterprise Connectivity

• Develop automated data pipelines using Alteryx Connectors and APIs.
• Integrate data from SharePoint Online, SQL Server, Azure, Snowflake, flat files, and cloud applications.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT solutions to support reporting, analytics, and business operations.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and governance standards are maintained.

Financial Reporting & Business Process Automation

• Partner with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, operational challenges, and opportunities for automation.
• Streamline financial close activities, account reconciliations, and data consolidation processes.
• Automate the preparation and distribution of recurring management reports and financial datasets.
• Build workflows that consolidate financial and operational information from multiple systems into standardized reporting structures.
• Implement automated controls to improve data integrity, auditability, and regulatory compliance where applicable.
• Reduce reliance on manual Excel processes while maintaining appropriate financial controls and transparency.

SharePoint, Microsoft 365 & API Integration

• Develop solutions leveraging SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, OneDrive, Teams, and related services.
• Extract, upload, and manage files and metadata using SharePoint connectors and APIs.
• Build and consume REST APIs for data ingestion and system integration.
• Configure and manage authentication methods such as OAuth, Client ID/Client Secret, and token-based authentication.

AI & Intelligent Automation

• Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI-powered solutions across business processes.
• Integrate AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other enterprise AI tools into automation workflows.
• Design and deploy AI-assisted solutions for:
• Data extraction and document processing
• Report generation and summarization
• Data validation and anomaly detection
• Knowledge management and search
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend innovative solutions to improve productivity and automation maturity.

Python & Advanced Automation

• Develop Python-based automation scripts and custom components within Alteryx workflows.
• Utilize Python for API integrations, data processing, AI model interaction, and workflow extensions.
• Support advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and machine learning initiatives.
• Optimize automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation and AI opportunities.
• Lead solution design discussions and technical workshops.
• Mentor junior team members and establish best practices for automation development.
• Drive adoption of AI, analytics, and automation technologies across the organization.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment standards.

Qualifications

Must-Have Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate or above Degree with 6-9 years of experience in Data Analysis & Modelling.
• Minimum 5 years of expert-level proficiency with Alteryx for data blending, transformation, and workflow automation.
• Ability to communicate with both the team and management regarding the status of current project initiatives.
• Communicate with project lead regarding project health, status, and risks.
• Ability to work closely with team members on collaborative initiatives, both on individual projects and on teamwide projects.
