Job summary

Virtuous Advisors & Resources Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai seeks an Associate (Investment Banking) focused on roads, infrastructure and transportation.

You will work on end-to-end deal activities, including equity, M&A and structured finance, and interact with clients, investors, lenders, and legal advisers to drive transactions. The ideal candidate has at least one year in fund raising, project or corporate finance, and holds an MBA (Tier-1/2) or CA/CFA, with strong financial modelling and valuation

Qualifications

• MBA/CA/CFA with finance focus or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in road/infra/transportation sectors preferred.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capabilities.
• Ability to manage end-to-end investment banking processes.

Responsibilities

• Front-end investment banking role focusing on infrastructure sectors with end-to-end deal activities.
• Interact with clients, investors, lenders, legal firms and consultants.
• Identify trends and opportunities to build a robust business pipeline.
• Prepare industry analyses and identify target clients and deals.
• Conduct financial analysis and valuation.
• Prepare teasers, pitch books, IMs and financial models.

Hiring for Associate (Investment Banking - Roads/Infrastructure/Transportation)

Location: Kalina, Mumbai

Responsibilities

1. Front end investment banking role focussing on Infrastructure sectors involving end-to-end deal activities starting from origination to closure for transactions involving equity, M&A and structured credit.
2. Candidates would be part of the interactions with various stakeholders such as clients, investors, lenders, legal firms, consultants, etc.
3. Identify trends and potential opportunities to establish an active business pipeline.
4. In depth industry analyses by understanding key drivers and business models to arrive at a potential universe of clients.
5. Financial analysis and valuation.
6. Prepare teasers, pitch books, information memorandums, management, presentations and financial models.
7. Articulating deal USPs through power point presentations.
8. Engaging with PE/VC funds, strategic investors, private credit funds/AIFs and special situations funds for closing deals.
9. Participate and facilitate comprehensive due-diligence.
10. Supporting execution of definitive agreements and deal closure.

Key skills and Experience

• Candidates with at least one year of experience in any of the following: fund raising, project finance, corporate finance, investment advisory or financial advisory.
• Should have from Road/Infra/Transportation Sector experience.
• Education: MBA (Tier-1 or Tier-2 B-Schools) with a focus in finance or CA or CFA.
• Expertise in corporate finance, financial modelling and financial statement analysis.
• Proficiency in Financial Modelling.
