Job summary

UST is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to drive data governance and provide actionable insights across finance and operations. You will own master data, ensure data integrity, and partner with IT and business teams to deliver robust reporting solutions.

The role requires hands-on TM1 and SAC expertise, strong analytical skills, and the ability to modernize reporting practices while delivering scalable BI capabilities using Power BI, Power Query, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, or engineering or equivalent.
• 3–4 years as an owner of enterprise reporting platforms with governance and roadmap delivery.
• Hands-on TM1 and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) expertise.
• Experience modernizing reporting platforms and driving best practices.

Responsibilities

• Master data maintenance across BI tools and SAP, ensuring data integrity.
• Monitor ERP data flow, fix errors, reconcile numbers, validate data.
• Own regional reporting tool, maintain hierarchies and data cubes.
• Develop simple automation using VBScript, Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Pivot.
• Apply knowledge of BI platforms (HANA, TM1, Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Oracle BI, SAC) to deliver insights.

Your Role

• Master data maintenance: Update and maintain master data hierarchies in BI/reporting tools, SAP, and other financial reporting tools.
• Monitor the flow of data between ERPs and reporting tools; fix error logs; reconcile numbers; ensure data sanity and validation.
• Reporting tool maintenance: Act as the techno-functional owner of a regional reporting tool; maintain and update hierarchies and data cubes.
• Finance automation: Utilize tools like VB scripting, Power Query, Power Automate, and Power Pivot to develop simple and efficient automation solutions.
• Familiarity with RPA tools (includes but not limited to Python, MS Power Suite) Experience in BI and Analytics technologies and platforms (e.g. SAP HANA, TM1, Tableau, Qlik, Microsoft Power BI, Oracle BI, SAP Analytics Cloud)

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting Technology, IT, or Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
• At least 3-4 years of hands‑on experience as a functional owner of enterprise Reporting platforms — with full accountability for governance, architecture standards, and roadmap delivery
• Mandatory hands‑on expertise in TM1 and SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) — deep functional knowledge of financial reporting tools with the ability to define best practices and set technical standards across teams Techno-functional transformation mindset not just maintaining systems but modernizing them.
• Challenging the basics, driving innovative thinking, and leading reporting initiatives that redefine how financial insights are consumed
• Highly independent and strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, cross‑functional network builder with the ability to influence without authority, bridging Finance, IT, and Business teams and translating complexity into clear, actionable insights for cross‑functional peers and business partners
