DP World Global Service Centre in Navi Mumbai seeks an Associate – Forwarding Finance to manage day-to-day AP validation, invoice tracking, vendor reconciliations, and payments. The role reports to the GSC Assistant Manager and requires 2–4 years of global AP experience with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in managing global functions like Accounts Payable.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify invoices for accuracy, appropriate approvals, and adherence to company policies.
• Ensure payments are made on time to avoid late fees or disruptions.
• Ensure vendor queries and queries invoices are resolved on time.
• Generate reports on outstanding payables, payment schedules.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, tax regulations, and legal requirements in all accounts payable activities.
• Assist with maintaining records for audits and ensuring proper documentation.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Publish Monthly/ weekly reports of the zone that is supported.

Role Purpose

Responsible for the day-to-day validation of accounts payable invoices, Invoice Tracker management, Vendor Reconciliations, Vendor Payments and monthly AP closing activities.
