Job summary

The Hans Foundation in Ranchi seeks an Associate Finance - CSR for a contract of 1 year, renewable, to support CSR projects financially. The role involves invoicing, UC preparation, and maintaining project financial records, with travel to project locations as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a commerce degree (Bachelors/Masters) and 1–3 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Tally and MS Excel and strong coordination with vendors and field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in the development sector.
• Good knowledge of Tally, MS Excel and documentation, UC preparation, GST, TDS, EPF, ESIC, etc.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain monthly invoices, statements, and supporting financial documents for CSR projects.
• Prepare monthly UC internal or external as per requirement in the project.
• Ensure timely submission of invoices and financial statements as per project requirements.
• Maintain proper records of project-related bills, vouchers, and other financial documents.
• Book keeping and accounting in tally.
• Coordinate and liaise with vendors regarding invoices, bills, payments, and required documentation.
• Coordinate with the CSR team for invoice submission, financial queries, and project-related requirements.
• Follow up with relevant stakeholders for timely resolution of financial and documentation-related issues.
• Travel to project locations as required for financial documentation, verification, coordination, and project-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master Degree in commerce.

Functional / Technical Skills and Relevant Experience & Other requirements.

• Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience in the development sector .
• Good knowledge of Tally, MS Excel and documentation, UC preparation, statutory compliance i.e. GST, TDS, professional tax, EPF, ESIC etc.
• Understanding of accounting, invoicing, and financial documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work with vendors, CSR teams, and field staff.
• Willingness to travel to project locations as per organizational requirements.
