WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role is based in the Enterprise Technology Center of Excellence (ET CoE), part of Bain’s broader “Data & Technology” umbrella within the BCN. The Enterprise Technology CoE provides specialized support on Tech Strategy, Transformation, and Roadmap projects for Bain clients across industries. The ET CoE team acts as the analytical and delivery arm of Bain’s ET Practice, providing expertise in:
- Building and deploying Enterprise Technology diagnostics
- Delivering core technology products for consulting teams
- Working directly with clients to support technology transformations
- Integrating new and emerging technologies such as AI and automation into diagnostics
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Work closely with team leads to build and deploy ET diagnostic tools and contribute actively to IP development. In this role you will:
- Quickly ramp up, identify and employ relevant research sources and analytical tools
- Ensure timely, high-quality, zero-defect research, analysis and output produced by the analysts
- Understand client needs and situations, and adapt to case expectations
- Generate and screen realistic answers based on sound reality checks and recommend actionable solutions
- Learn how to make businesses more valuable and responsible through industry or company insights, supporting Bain case teams, client development teams and industry practices
- Take responsibility for assigned work streams, generate hypotheses, and execute work plans (including industry research, preparing presentations, data analysis)
- Apply relevant analytical tools for your work stream, ensuring zero-defect analysis and timely responses to key questions
- Communicate data, knowledge and insight to the entire team, and recommend actionable solutions
- Deliver clear and professional presentations to the team, team leaders and managers
- Consistently seek and provide meaningful feedback, recognizing development needs and working towards improvement
ABOUT YOU
- Graduates or post-graduates with a strong academic record
- Relevant experience in a professional services context: 2–5 years for undergrad, 0–3 years for postgrad
- Strong consulting mindset, experience with client-facing engagements in areas such as Enterprise Architecture, technology modernization, tech strategy, process excellence, automation, tech cost optimization, application portfolio rationalization
- Exposure to enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, DODAF) is a plus
- Experience in digital transformation delivery, and using project management tools (Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, LeanIX) in large IT transformations
- Ability to design and deploy scalable technology solutions, leverage advanced LLMs and implement autonomous agents to drive measurable value
- Knowledge of automation in digital transformation projects and advanced GenAI is a plus
- Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, Alteryx, Tableau, and programming languages such as Python and SQL are required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
