Black & Veatch Family of Companies in Mumbai is seeking an Associate Engineering Technician - Electrical(LNG) to support engineering teams with CAD/BIM tasks, 3D modeling, and documentation. The role emphasizes technical guidance to junior staff and adherence to engineering standards.

The position requires experience with CAD/BIM tools, strong drafting skills, and the ability to work across disciplines on project deliverables in a full-time, on-site capacity.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Under general supervision, supports engineering teams by performing technical tasks that require an intermediate understanding of engineering principles and practices. Utilizes digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling) to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables. May begin to provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineering technicians.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret engineering deliverables for accuracy and compliance.

Management Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD, E3D, SP3D
• Experience in 3D modeling in E3D, SP3D , cable tray sizing, grounding, lighting, lightning protection, raceway composites, circuit routing, clash checks, and CARMS.

Minimum Qualifications

Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
