Job summary

Daimler India Commercial Vehicles seeks a strategic leader to drive the development and execution of business strategy across ISEAA, including India, SEA, Australia and Pacific regions. You will guide governance, performance management and executive decision-support with cross-functional collaboration to deliver growth across markets.

We expect 8–10 years in strategy or corporate planning, strong analytical skills, and proven stakeholder management.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop ISEAA mid-term and long-term strategic roadmap and India market strategy end-to-end
• Integrate SEA and AuP strategic imperatives into unified ISEAA direction
• Identify growth opportunities, risks and strategic gaps across markets
• Lead annual strategy formulation cycles (PESTLE, SWOT, strategic imperatives) for ISEAA & India with support to SEA & AuP
• Establish strategy governance framework and drive Balanced Scorecard deployment across ISEAA
• Lead strategy reviews with regional leadership and track progress vs. targets
• Prepare President-CEO & MD-level presentations and drive scenario planning
• Resolve strategic conflicts between regional priorities and align MB 7 Key Focus Areas

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven manger to drive the development and execution of the business strategy across the India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and Pacific (ISEAA) region. The role focuses on shaping growth strategies, driving governance and performance management, supporting executive decision-making, and ensuring alignment between regional and corporate priorities. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will lead strategic planning, identify opportunities and risks, drive transformation initiatives, and deliver sustainable business impact. Success in this role requires strong analytical, stakeholder management, executionand problem-solving skills in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Education

Bachelor s degree in engineering (mandatory), MBA / PGDM (preferred)

Experience

• 08-10 years in strategy, or corporate planning
• Exposure to multi-market / regional business environments preferred

• Establish strategy governance framework
• Drive Balanced Scorecard (BSC) deployment across ISEAA
• Lead strategy reviews with regional leaderships
• Track progress vs. targets and trigger corrective actions (PDCA)
• Ensure linkage between strategy, business plan, and financial outcomes

Executive Support decisions

• Prepare President- CEO & MD-level presentations
• Drive scenario planning for planning major Opportunities and Risks
• Recommend strategic actions for market entry, product portfolio, network development, and partnerships

Cross-regional Alignment

• Resolve strategic conflicts between regional priorities
• Align regional priories into MB 7 Key Focus Areas (KFA)
• Represent ISEAA strategy in discussions with MB/ DT Corporate Strategy discussions

Transformation & Strategic Projects

• Execute major transformational initiatives
