Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture design and technical strategy for strategic digital transformation and innovation initiatives.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Distinguished Engineer (Technology Architect, Automotive, Data Architecture, Generative AI, Integration, Cloud) based in India.

This senior technology leadership role focuses on shaping end-to-end architecture and technical strategy for large-scale digital transformation and innovation initiatives. You will translate complex business challenges into scalable, secure, and future-ready technology solutions. The position brings together enterprise architecture, data platforms, cloud technologies, integration ecosystems, and Generative AI. You will help define architectural standards, governance frameworks, and reusable technology assets while guiding implementation teams. Working closely with business stakeholders and multidisciplinary technical teams, you will influence strategic decisions and support innovative customer solutions. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to technology thought leadership and advance digital innovation, particularly across the automotive sector.

Accountabilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture design and technical strategy for strategic digital transformation and innovation initiatives.

• Define architecture frameworks, technology stacks, integration models, deployment strategies, and technical standards.
• Drive architecture governance, design reviews, and technical decision-making across multiple initiatives.
• Develop and evolve reusable accelerators, solution frameworks, reference architectures, and technology assets.
• Establish architectural best practices that support scalability, maintainability, reusability, and operational excellence.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, particularly Generative AI, intelligent automation, cloud platforms, and advanced data architectures.
• Design enterprise AI solutions using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, and agentic workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, domain consultants, and presales teams to shape innovative solution offerings.
• Participate in customer workshops, technical discovery sessions, architecture discussions, and solution presentations.
• Communicate architectural vision, technology recommendations, design rationale, and technical trade-offs to senior stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
• Partner with data, AI, cloud, engineering, and delivery teams to support successful solution implementation.
• Maintain architecture documentation, technical standards, and knowledge-sharing practices.
• Assess solution feasibility, risks, security, performance, and long-term sustainability.
• Contribute to thought leadership, technology strategy, innovation initiatives, and industry-focused solution development.
• Identify opportunities to improve business outcomes through technology innovation, data-driven solutions, and digital transformation.

Requirements:

• 15+ years of experience in technology consulting, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or digital engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in digital transformation initiatives within large-scale enterprise environments.
• Ability to align technology strategies with business objectives and make business-oriented architecture decisions.
• Extensive experience designing and governing complex enterprise architectures, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and integration ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of data architecture, including data platforms, governance, integration, analytics, scalability, security, and enterprise data management.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, AI agents, agentic workflows, AI integration patterns, and enterprise AI architectures.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Proven ability to define technology roadmaps, architectural principles, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Strong engineering background, with the ability to assess technical feasibility and guide implementation teams.
• Experience evaluating technologies, making architecture decisions, and managing technical trade-offs across enterprise initiatives.
• Knowledge of enterprise security, scalability, reliability, performance, and non-functional requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management, consulting, communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Experience collaborating with presales, consulting, engineering, cloud, AI, and delivery teams.
• Ability to create solution blueprints, reference architectures, reusable frameworks, and technology accelerators.
• Understanding of emerging technologies, intelligent automation, cloud, AI, and data-driven innovation.
• Highly desirable: Automotive domain knowledge, including connected vehicles, customer experience, digital retail, dealer ecosystems, aftersales, mobility solutions, or related industry areas.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
