Job summary

AECOM Bangalore is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to lead design and delivery of Landscape / Public Realm projects for private and public clients. You will work across design, tender and construction stages with potential international exposure.

The role requires a Masters in Landscape Architecture and 14+ years of relevant experience, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, BIM and related tools. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Landscape Architecture from internationally reputed universities is advantageous.
• Candidates should have 14+ years of experience in Landscape Architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture is acceptable with relevant landscape project experience.
• Chartered status is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Landscape Design/Public Realm projects for private or public sector clients.
• Coordinate with design, tender and construction processes; international experience is a plus.
• Proficient in design detailing and construction techniques.
• Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, Bluebeam; BIM experience preferred for landscape/infrastructure works.
• Accountable for discipline department results and project budgets.
• Support staff development and mentor the department team.
• Oversee project budget for LS Architecture and lead design reviews with clients.

Job Description

Here is what you will do:

• Must have good experience delivering Landscape Design/ Public Realm projects in the private or public sectors with domestic/international clients/stakeholders
• Must be familiar with design, tender and construction processes. International experience of the UK, Middle East or APAC regions will be considered an added advantage.
• Must be proficient in design detailing and construction techniques.
• Must be proficient in, but not limited to, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator), MS Office, Bluebeam. Advanced experience of BIM related software in Landscape Design/ Infrastructure works will be considered an added advantage.
• Accountable for the results of the discipline department and adherence to approved project budgets.
• Supports business change management initiatives, recruits, trains, mentors, evaluates the department's staff, and assists the various disciplines in identifying and developing skills.
• Accountable for the project's budget for the discipline of LS Architecture
• Peer review the team's work; take the lead on project design, project presentation, and client communicatio

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• A Masters degree in Landscape Architecture from universities of international repute will be an added advantage.
• Applicants are required to have between 14+years of experience in Landscape.
• Bachelor’s degree holders in Landscape Architecture or Architecture will be considered, if they can showcase relevant experience in Landscape Design project stages including design, documentation and site implementation.
• Chartered candidates shall have an added advantage.
