To manage end-to-end accounting processes related to Airport Charges, Engineering payables and Fixed Assets Accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The role includes vendor coordination, audit readiness, tax compliance, and cross-functional collaboration to support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Airport Charges, Engineering and Fixed Asset Management
- Oversee Airport Charges,Engineering and fixed asset accounting including invoice booking, asset code creation, and contract review
- Leading the Automation in Airport Charges,Engineering and FA accounting
- Conduct physical verification and reconciliation of assets per company policy
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register, update based on department feedback (e.g., asset location, scrapping, sale)
- Capitalize assets and compute depreciation as per accounting standards
- Ensure monthly closure of books according to financial timelines
- Track capital advances and ensure closure
- Support audit preparedness through schedule creation and resolution of audit points
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding issues
- Ensure internal controls are in place and properly documented
- Ensuring FEMA compliance with respect to payments / receipts in Foreign currency
- Maintain tax compliance (Direct and Indirect) relevant to engineering and asset purchases
Reporting & Business Support
- Prepare regular MIS and analytics reports for leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and data accuracy
- Support strategic decision-making with financial insight
