Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned solution architect leader (14–18 years, pharma/life sciences) to drive solutioning for large enterprise engagements, design modern & scale data platforms, lead project delivery and governance for pharma clients.

Key Responsibilities

Data Architecture & Solutioning

• Own & design end-to-end data solution architecture for large enterprise engagements
• Design modern data platforms including Data Lake, Lakehouse, and Cloud Data Warehouses
• Architect scalable solutions using Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud services (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Define data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, and consumption patterns
• Ensure solutions align with performance, security, governance, and cost optimization principles

Pre-Sales & Deal Support

• Drive pre-sales solutioning, RFP/RFI responses, and client presentations
• Partner with sales and business leaders to shape winning data-led value propositions
• Drive architecture discussions with CIOs and senior client stakeholders
• Estimate effort, define solution scope, and contribute to pricing and commercials

Client & Stakeholder Leadership

• Act as a trusted data advisor to clients
• Translate business problems into data-driven architectures and roadmaps
• Lead architecture reviews, solution governance, and design sign-offs
• Lead, guide and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure execution excellence

Technology Leadership & Governance

• Define reference architectures, bring best practices, and reusable solution assets
• Stay current with emerging trends in cloud data, analytics, AI/ML enablement

Requirements

• Experience: 14+ years in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Enterprise Data Solutions, with a strong track record of delivering large-scale data solutions
• Architecture Expertise: Hands‑on experience designing modern data ecosystems including Data Lakes, Lakehouse architectures, and Cloud Data Warehouses
• Technology Stack: Strong expertise with Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)
• Data Engineering Foundations: Deep understanding of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, governance, security, and performance optimization
• Pre-Sales & Solutioning: Experience supporting or leading RFP/RFI responses, solution design, effort estimation, and client presentations
• Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Ability to engage senior stakeholders, translate business needs into scalable architectures, and guide delivery teams
• Communication: Strong presentation and collaboration skills across technical and business audiences
  Preferred: Experience in advanced analytics or AI/ML enablement initiatives
