Building on Sr. Manager accountability for a delivery team, you will lead multiple teams or workstreams, set the multi-year capability and technology roadmap, govern the reporting portfolio and influence enterprise data and digital decisions. You will remain technically credible while operating primarily through leaders, strategic partnerships and portfolio-level decisions.
Define and execute the analytical reporting strategy, target operating model and multi-year roadmap for clinical reports, dashboards, visualizations, advanced data-review tools and underlying data products.
Lead and develop managers, technical leads and specialist teams; establish role clarity, succession plans, capability-building programs and a culture of quality, innovation, ownership and inclusion.
Set portfolio priorities and resource strategy across studies, programs and strategic investments; make transparent trade-offs that optimize patient impact, delivery risk, scalability and enterprise value.
Establish governance for intake, architecture, design standards, data definitions, validation, deployment, lifecycle support and retirement of analytical reporting solutions.
Sponsor integrated, reusable solutions for patient-, study-, program- and portfolio-level data review, including medical and safety dashboards, operational risk indicators, cross-study analytics and review-ready data products.
Provide strategic direction for clinical data curation, transformation, semantic models, lineage and accessibility so data can be responsibly reused across analytical solutions.
Shape future-state architecture in partnership with Digital Technology, Clinical Systems, Data Architecture, AI & Data, Standards and Statistical Programming teams.
Evaluate and sponsor responsible adoption of advanced analytics, anomaly detection, machine learning, generative AI and automation; ensure value hypotheses, validation, privacy, security, traceability and human oversight are built into scaled solutions.
Represent Analytical Reporting on functional and cross-functional governance bodies and influence senior leaders on clinical data, technology, investment and operating-model decisions.
Lead cross-functional transformation programs that modernize clinical data flow, review practices and decision support; translate complex scientific, business and technical needs into executable roadmaps and investment cases.
Establish strategic partnerships with Therapeutic Areas, Data Management, Clinical Operations, Medical, Safety, Biostatistics, Quality and Digital Technology to align capability plans with development priorities.
Oversee external partner and vendor strategy for assigned scope, including capability assessment, performance governance, quality and appropriate knowledge retention.
Accountable for a risk-based quality framework that ensures analytical solutions meet applicable ICH-GCP, regulatory, data-integrity, privacy, security, audit-trail and controlled-system expectations.
Ensure inspection readiness across the capability and lead responses to material audit, inspection and quality findings.
Define outcome, delivery, quality, adoption and maturity metrics; use them to drive enterprise-level continuous improvement and demonstrate value.
