Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with LLMs/SLMs and AI-driven solutions.
• Experience in AI Solution Architecture within product or engineering environments.
• Cybersecurity experience is highly preferred, especially AI and cybersecurity.
• Ability to work with senior global/US leadership and stakeholders.
• Hands-on technical architect with minimal people management scope.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering, AI and technology teams.

• Designing and architecting AI-driven cybersecurity solutions using AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs and emerging AI technologies.
• Translating cybersecurity and business challenges into scalable, secure and practical AI solutions.
• Leading the architecture, engineering and delivery of AI solutions from concept and POC through production deployment.
• Evaluating and applying LLMs, Small Language Models, AI agents and other AI technologies to cybersecurity use cases.
• Working with senior US-based technology leadership and cybersecurity stakeholders to define solution strategies and roadmaps.
• Driving innovation across AI engineering, cybersecurity architecture and intelligent security solutions.
• Developing solution architectures addressing scalability, security, performance, reliability and operational requirements.

Our client is a leading global organisation seeking an Associate Director AI Solution Architect to join its Cybersecurity Architecture function. This is a product and engineering-focused leadership role responsible for designing and delivering AI-driven cybersecurity solutions using advanced AI, machine learning and Large Language Model technologies.

The role will work closely with senior technology and US-based leadership to identify cybersecurity opportunities, architect scalable AI solutions and deliver practical, business-focused outcomes. While cybersecurity experience is highly preferred, candidates with strong AI, Data Science and Solution Architecture expertise will also be considered.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• 15–20 years of overall technology experience with strong expertise in AI, Data Science, AI Engineering and Solution Architecture.
• Strong foundation in Data Science, Statistics and Python.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AI/ML and Generative AI solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with LLMs/SLMs and AI-driven solutions.
• Proven experience in AI Solution Architecture/AI Architecture within product or engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end AI solution development, architecture and production deployment.
• Cybersecurity experience is highly preferred, particularly experience combining AI and cybersecurity.
• Candidates without cybersecurity experience may be considered if they demonstrate exceptional AI/Data Science and Solution Architecture expertise and the ability to rapidly transition into cybersecurity.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior global/US leadership.
• Ability to operate as a hands-on technical architect rather than a traditional people manager.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering, AI and technology teams.
