Job summary

SPN Advisors LLP seeks a highly motivated candidate to join the Direct Tax team in Delhi. You will handle advisory, compliance and litigation tasks for diverse clients, contributing to filings, notices responses, and strategic tax planning.

The role requires CA/Law background and strong knowledge of Indian tax laws, with leadership to mentor junior staff. You will collaborate with clients and management to deliver high-quality tax services.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or Law graduate or semi-qualified CA.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience in tax advisory and litigation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services to clients including drafting memos, due diligence, M&A tax, and restructuring.
• Assist in drafting responses to tax authorities and represent before the Income Tax Authorities.
• Research various tax issues to support client engagements.
• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and corporates; handle advance tax workings and TDS reconciliations.
• Communicate with clients to gather documentation and mentor team members.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join our Direct Tax team.

Responsibilities

Tax Advisory and Tax Litigation:

• Providing advisoryservices to clients, including but not limited to drafting Legal memos, due diligence, M&A Tax, restructuring, etc.
• Assistance in drafting responses to tax authorities on various notices, etc.
• Representing before the Income Tax Authorities.
• Researching various tax issues.

2. Tax Compliance:

• Preparation and review of tax returns for individuals and corporations.
• Preparation of Advance Tax workings, FLA, SFT, TDS returns, and 26AS reconciliations.

3. Client and Team Management:

• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for tax compliance, litigation, and advisory services.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop team members, along with reviewing the work of team members.

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant/Law Graduate/Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant

Compensation: Commensurate with Industry standards.
