The role emphasizes Azure cloud infrastructure, IaC with Terraform, CI/CD, monitoring, security, and cross‑functional collaboration to continuously improve platform stability and incident response.

Qualifications

• 2+ years defining, designing, implementing, or supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• 1+ years with Docker or container deployments.
• 1+ years designing, implementing, or troubleshooting cloud networking solutions.
• 1+ years developing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring/observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24x7 operational support for the Advocate Central platform.
• Monitor system health using observability tools; triage alerts and coordinate resolution.
• Assist CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and release management.
• Administer Azure cloud infrastructure (hosting, networking, security, maintenance).
• Support production deployments and post-deployment validation.
• Troubleshoot app, infra, database, network, and integration issues.
• Maintain runbooks, docs, and SOPs for platform operations.
• Collaborate across engineering, security, infra, and business teams.
• Support security initiatives including remediation and compliance activities.
• Assist with disaster recovery preparedness and platform resiliency.
• Analyze logs/metrics to identify bottlenecks and automation opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide 24x7 operational support for the Advocate Central platform, ensuring system availability, reliability, and performance across production and non-production environments
• Monitor application, infrastructure, and platform health using enterprise monitoring and observability tools. Investigate alerts, perform initial triage, and coordinate incident resolution activities
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation processes, and release management activities to enable efficient and reliable software delivery
• Assist with Azure cloud infrastructure administration, including application hosting, networking, security configurations, and platform maintenance
• Participate in production deployments, change management activities, and post-deployment validation to ensure successful releases
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, database, networking, and integration issues to minimize downtime and improve service reliability
• Maintain operational runbooks, technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles to support platform operations
• Collaborate with software engineering, security, infrastructure, and business teams to implement platform enhancements and operational improvements
• Support security initiatives, including vulnerability remediation, access reviews, compliance activities, certificate management, and implementation of security best practices
• Assist with disaster recovery preparedness, business continuity testing, and platform resiliency improvements for critical applications
• Analyze logs, metrics, and operational data to identify performance bottlenecks, recurring issues, and opportunities for automation
• Participate in root cause analysis activities and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve platform stability and reduce incident recurrence
• Contribute to Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), automation initiatives, and DevSecOps practices that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
• Support network modernization, cloud transformation, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives as part of the organization's strategic roadmap
• Collaborate with global DevOps and support teams to provide continuous follow-the-sun operational coverage for critical business applications

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience defining, designing, implementing, or supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
• 1+ years of experience working with Docker or containerized application deployments
• 1+ years of experience designing, implementing, or troubleshooting cloud networking solutions
• 1+ years of experience developing and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform
• Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Dynatrace, Splunk, Grafana, and Prometheus
• Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure security practices and vulnerability management
• Knowledge of Azure networking concepts, including virtual networks, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, routing, and network security
• Understanding of high-availability architectures, reliability engineering principles, monitoring strategies, and incident management processes
• Proven solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, or other AI-powered engineering toolsExperience supporting mission-critical production applications in a 24x7 operational environment
• Experience optimizing cloud infrastructure for both performance and cost efficiency
• Python development and automation experience
