The GreenEducation Educator will play a core academic and delivery role instrengthening IGBC's Green Education vertical. The position focuses on designing,upgrading and delivering sustainability-focused curricula, certificationprogrammes and capacity-building initiatives for students, faculty andindustry professionals.

The rolealigns directly with IGBC's mission to build a large pool of industry-readygreen building professionals and strengthen industry-academia linkage. [igbc.in]

KeyResponsibilities

• Design, develop andcontinuously upgrade green education programmes and courses alignedwith IGBC focus areas such as:
  
• Green Buildings & BuiltEnvironment
  
• Energy Efficiency & WaterEfficiency
  
• Life Cycle Assessment and NetZero concepts
  
• Improve and update existingIGBC curricula, course content, presentations, case studies and learningresources
  
• Ensure alignment with IGBCrating systems, tools and certification frameworks [igbc.in]

2.Programme Delivery & Teaching

• Deliver training programmes,certification courses, workshops and webinars for:
  
• Students (UG/PG)
  
• Faculty members
  
• Working professionals andindustry participants
  
• Conduct Faculty DevelopmentProgrammes (FDPs), student certification courses and professional trainingsas part of IGBC Green Education initiatives [igbc.in]
  
• Adapt teaching methodologiesfor online, hybrid and classroom formats

3.Academic & Institutional Engagement

• Coordinate with universities,engineering and architecture colleges, faculty and academic leadershipto support curriculum integration and elective programmes
  
• Enable industry-academiacollaboration by aligning educational content with industry needs andemerging sustainability trends [igbc.in]
  
• Support outreach and onboardingof institutions into IGBC Green Education programmes

4.Content, Knowledge & Research Support

• Develop technical notes,concept papers, assessments, quizzes and certification frameworks
  
• Track emerging trends in greenbuildings, climate action, net zero, sustainability education and policy
  
• Support creation of neweducational offerings in line with national sustainability goals andmarket demand
  
• Support programme promotion,techno-marketing and stakeholder communication
  
• Assist internal teams with presentations,proposals and academic documentation
  
• Contribute to post-programmereports, feedback analysis and continuous improvement

Requirements

Qualifications

• Architecture / CivilEngineering
  
• Energy, Climate or BuiltEnvironment-related disciplines
  
• PhD preferred (or strong academic andteaching credentials)

Experience

• Minimum 7 years of combined academic, training and/or industry experience
  
• Sustainability, greenbuildings, energy or environmental domains
  
• Exposure to IGBC / LEED /green building frameworks is highly desirable
  
• Strong teaching,facilitation and presentation skills
  
• Ability to design anddeliver programmes independently
  
• Strong technical andacademic grounding in sustainability and built environment
  
• Comfort with travel to campuses and programme locations
  
• Excellent communication andstakeholder-management skills
