Job summary

Beghou is seeking an Associate Consultant to drive analytics solutions for life sciences clients, translating business needs into BI designs using Tableau, Power BI, and Excel-based reporting.

You will deliver interactive dashboards, apply advanced analytics, and mentor junior team members while collaborating with global teams to improve commercial outcomes.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Power BI/Tableau reporting and analytics projects.
• Experience in medium- to-large scale technology/BI delivery environments.
• Ability to work in global, cross-functional teams and multiple projects.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau for dashboards and visualizations.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, analysis, and report development.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, data quality, and DBMS fundamentals.
• MS Excel proficiency and familiarity with modern BI platforms.
• Understanding of data modeling, BI data management, and analytics methodologies.
• Basic exposure to cloud BI environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and distributed data systems.
• Foundational Python or scripting language knowledge.

Responsibilities

As an Associate consultant, you will be a key contributor, creating and driving impactful analytics solutions that optimize commercial performance for our life sciences clients. You will leverage your strong analytical mindset and skills to deliver actionable insights, solve complex business problems, and apply advanced analytical techniques, including modeling and simulation, to inform key business decisions and drive positive commercial outcomes. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and train junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Business Requirements to BI Solutions: Translate client needs into technical specifications and lead the design, development, and deployment of BI solutions using Tableau, Power BI, and Excel-based reporting
• Advanced Analytics & Visualization: Apply data visualization best practices and advanced analytical techniques to build insightful, interactive, and actionable dashboards that support decision‑making
• Methodologies & Quality Standards: Utilize agile and other delivery approaches while embedding QA reviews, mid‑development validations, and unit testing to ensure reliability of BI solutions
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with project leads and clients to refine reporting needs, provide updates, and present results through compelling data stories and visualizations
• Team Collaboration & Mentoring: Manage and support BI/reporting developers, mentor junior associates on visualization techniques, and ensure smooth task execution across teams
• Communication of Insights: Deliver clear, visually driven presentations and dashboards tailored to stakeholders
• Continuous Innovation in BI: Stay updated on new Power BI/Tableau features, adopt emerging visualisation trends, and continuously optimise dashboards for better usability and impact

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of relevant experience in Power BI/Tableau reporting and analytics projects (consulting experience preferred)
• Exposure to medium‑to‑large scale technology/BI solution delivery environments
• Ability to work effectively in global, cross‑functional teams with flexibility to support multiple projects
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI and/or Tableau for dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations
• Strong expertise in SQL for querying, data analysis, and report development
• Familiarity with data pipelines, data quality, and DBMS fundamentals
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with modern BI platforms
• Understanding of data modeling concepts, BI data management best practices, and analytics methodologies
