Role & Responsibilities
Procurement Operations
  • Execute purchase orders (POs) based on requirements and inventory levels.
  • Identify and process Engineering Change Orders (ECO), secondary processes, and alternate parts; ensure POs are created for the correct components.
  • Make sound decisions while creating POs for forecasted demand, stockable items, and safety stock requirements.
Order Management
  • Manage the end-to-end order lifecycle, including order placement, tracking, delivery, and invoicing.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
  • Address and resolve order discrepancies or issues with suppliers promptly.
Vendor Management
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with vendors to achieve continuous improvement in supply chain performance.
Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Experience: 25 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or order management roles.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / equivalent).
    • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Behavioral Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.
    • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
    • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Team player with a proactive and result-oriented approach.
