Business Continuity Analyst - Operational Resilience & AI Automation

What you will do

In this vital role, you will primarily support the modernization and continuous improvement of the Business Continuity (BC) program while developing foundational knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR) processes. You will serve as the primary analyst for business continuity activities and partner with the Disaster Recovery team to triage, coordinate, and support technology recovery initiatives as needed. You will support the modernization of the Business Continuity program through continuous, intelligence-driven readiness across critical processes, systems, dependencies, and AI-enabled workflows. You will help develop and improve BC strategies, plans, testing activities, risk assessments, and program processes that strengthen operational resilience and minimize the impact of potential disruptions.

Provide input and feedback on Global Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Services strategy, requirements, standards, procedures, processes, training, templates, tools, metrics, and reporting.

Support and collaborate with business clients, IT, operations, risk management, and global virtual teams in the development and improvement of business continuity and disaster recovery plans.

Support Business Continuity (BC) process analysis, including stakeholder engagement, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), BC plan development, quality assurance, dependency mapping, continuous improvement, and operational resilience initiatives.

Develop working knowledge of Disaster Recovery (DR) processes and provide initial analysis, triage, coordination, and support for DR planning and recovery activities, escalating complex technical recovery activities to DR specialists when appropriate.

Support dependency mapping of vendors, suppliers, technology, resources, and other factors that influence BC/DR readiness, recovery objectives, and program outcomes.

Support the replication of the BIA and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) using Agentic AI, ensuring outputs connect critical data, dependencies, and other considerations that influence plan creation and maintenance.

Support the identification and visibility of Key Computerized Systems (KCSs) and Critical Systems using Agentic AI.

Support continuous analysis of KCSs and Critical Systems, including when new platforms are added to the enterprise, to identify plan updates, dependency alerts, notifications, gaps, opportunities, and required changes.

Support the quality, flow, and contingency planning of established AI-enabled and Agentic AI processes, including fallback, override, recovery, and escalation considerations.

Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery exercises, coordinating cross-functional participation and documenting outcomes, lessons learned, and improvement actions, including planning meetings, milestone documents, and exercise-related deliverables. Exercise outcomes Achieved Recovery Time (ART) and Achieved Recovery Point (ARP), where applicable Action Items Lessons Learned Guidance and governance to meet requirements

Support Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery testing activities, ensuring alignment between business processes and technology recovery capabilities.

Research, interpret results, analyze data, and present information to technical and non-technical stakeholders to inform continuous improvement of BC/DR program standards, procedures, processes, training, templates, tools, metrics, and reporting.

Assist teams with continuity and documentation tools in support of BC/DR planning, exercises, reporting, and program record maintenance.

Authority

Advises management and team members on matters pertaining to BC/DR process maturity, operational resilience, dependency visibility, and AI-enabled program modernization.
