Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • 1–3 years of FP&A, corporate finance or technology finance.
  • Working knowledge of cloud cost management and IT financial management.
  • Strong Excel and financial analytics proficiency.
  • Ability to partner with business and technology leaders.
  • Experience with ERP/financial systems such as Coupa, SAP, Oracle or Planview.

  • Provide Planview support: project setup, data updates, reporting, and issue resolution.

  • Improve telecom processes and cost visibility with stakeholders.
  • Track actual performance vs forecasts and budgets; identify variances and adjustments.
  • Perform variance analysis and reviews to identify trends and risks.

As the Associate Analyst, Technology, you will be a key member of the technology team responsible for the continual monitoring of annual IT spend across our technology teams. In this highly analytical role, you will help identify challenges, support smarter decision-making and improve operational efficiency across the IT ecosystem.

You will assist in developing and tracking key performance indicators that drive strategic business improvements. Using your analytical background, you will support accountability through variance analysis, data-driven insights and financial performance tracking. You will also partner closely with team members and technology leaders to support a broad range of systems and activities, including Planview and telephone-related processes.

What You’ll Do
  • Analyze complex business, financial, Planview, and telecom-related problems and develop sound recommendations
  • Provide Planview support, including project setup, data updates, reporting assistance, process documentation, user guidance, and issue resolution.
  • Partner with finance, technology, and business leaders to drive financial transparency and accountability, and strategic decision-making across technology investments. Support annual planning, monthly and quarterly forecasting, budget development.
  • Support telephone and telecom expense management processes, including tracking monthly charges, reviewing invoices, validating billing accuracy, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with finance, technology, operations, and business stakeholders to improve telecom processes, enhance cost visibility, and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Track actual financial performance against forecasts and budgets, identify variances, and recommend appropriate adjustments.
  • Perform variance analysis and financial performance reviews to identify key trends, risks, opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
  • 1-3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance or technology finance.
  • Working knowledge of cloud cost management, IT financial management, technology spend optimization, or vendor cost analysis.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analytics tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with business and technology leaders.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with ERP and financial systems such as Coupa, SAP, Oracle, Planview, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools and task automation to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and increase efficiency within Microsoft Office applications.
  • Working knowledge of cloud cost management, IT financial management, technology spend optimization, or vendor cost analysis.
