Position Title: Assistant Manager, Treasury-Banking, ACG Corporate

About the Role:

ACG Group is looking for a freshly qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to join the Corporate Treasury team.

This role will provide exposure to Treasury, Banking, Debt Finance and Forex operations across the Group.

Candidates must have relevant Process Audit experience during their CA Articleship.

This is a MANDATORY business requirement, and profiles without hands-on Process Audit experience during Articleship will not be considered for shortlisting, irrespective of other audit exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will be primarily focused on Treasury operations, including Banking, Debt Finance and Forex activities.

Treasury / Banking & Debt Finance

• Monitor cash flows and financial covenants across Group companies.
• Monitor compliance with financing conditions and obligations under loan documentation.
• Support drawdown and repayment formalities for debt facilities.
• Coordinate activities related to security/mortgage creation and perfection against loans.
• Review financing and banking documentation.
• Support periodic activities related to valuation and other treasury requirements.
• Support businesses on ODI transactions and related documentation.
• Coordinate with banks and resolve banking-related queries.
• Support periodic ODI and regulatory filings.
• Assist in banking activities as per business requirements.
• Track RBI notifications/circulars and assess their implications for business operations.
• Support closure of EDPMS/IDPMS matters.
• Provide transactional support for trade finance activities.
• Monitor and analyse bank balances across foreign subsidiaries.
• Monitor bank charges across Group companies and support standardisation where required.

Forex Operations

• Prepare and maintain the Daily Deal Blotter.
• Ensure all disposal-related emails are attended to on a timely basis.
• Send import payment disposals to banks.
• Update the forward file daily and ensure reconciliation with the back office.
• Coordinate with SSC and banks to resolve operational queries.
• Coordinate with banks/SSC for past-due inward remittances and related issues.
• Support MTM reporting to entities.
• Prepare monthly MIS and related treasury reports.

Internal:

Group Treasury Head, Senior Treasury team, Finance teams across Group companies and other business stakeholders.

External:

Banks & Financial Institutions, Auditors, Rating Agencies and Consultants.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Mandatory: Process Audit experience during CA Articleship. or 1-2 years of relevant exposure into treasury banking (debt).
• Candidates should have hands-on exposure to Process Audit assignments during Articleship.
• Strong understanding of accounting, financial controls and business processes.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to build a career in Treasury / Banking / Forex operations.
• Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.
• Prior exposure to Debt Finance, Forex, Loan Documentation, Regulatory Compliance or Treasury during Articleship is desirable but not mandatory.
