Job summary

A leading construction firm in Ahmedabad is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality compliance at project sites and head office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in construction or EPC projects, along with a B.E. or Diploma in Civil Engineering. Responsibilities include implementing QA/QC systems, conducting site inspections, and coordinating with project teams. Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction / EPC projects.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor QA/QC systems at site as per approved Quality Plan.
• Prepare, review, and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
• Review and approve Method Statements related to construction activities.
• Conduct site inspections for civil works including RCC, finishing, and structural activities.
• Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams on quality matters.
• Ensure material inspection and approval before usage at site.
• Maintain quality records, checklists, WIRs, MIRs, and test reports.
• Monitor concrete quality, cube testing, and lab compliance.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits.
• Ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor vendor and subcontractor quality performance.
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Train site staff on quality procedures and best practices.
• Coordinate with Planning, Execution, and Safety teams for quality compliance.
