Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in sociology.
• Develop and update course syllabi to reflect current sociological research.
• Conduct research in sociology and publish in journals and present at conferences.
• Mentor students and support their research and professional development.
• Design, evaluate, and grade assignments and exams with constructive feedback.
• Participate in departmental meetings and curriculum development.
• Attend workshops and seminars to stay updated; appointment subject to BCI approval.

• The Assistant Professor (Sociology) is responsible for teaching social science courses like economics, political science, sociology etc. in relation to law, conducting research, and mentoring students.
• The required qualification shall be as per UGC/ BCI guidelines.
• The role involves developing course content, engaging in academic growth, and contributing to the department’s success.

Key Responsible
