Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Production, Industrial or related Engineering disciplines.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Technology Deployment and Contract Manufacturing roles
  • Well versed with concepts of Continuous Improvement, Quality Systems, Capacity Planning, Cost Optimization & Value Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, packaging technologies, Negotiation Skills and Projects execution.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives such as BCT reduction, throughput enhancement, line balancing, capacity unlock and manufacturing optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities, develop scalable solutions and drive execution.

Responsibilities

  • Contract Manufacturing Operations Management: Manage end-to-end operations across assigned Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
  • Supply & Service Excellence: Deliver agreed production plans while maintaining high service levels and OTIF performance.
  • Quality & Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements, product safety and audit protocols; drive CAPA for quality incidents.
  • Cost Optimization & Productivity: Identify productivity improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Contract Manufacturer Relationship Management: Build strong partnerships with CM sites and stakeholders; drive capability building and performance improvement.
  • Innovation & Technology Deployment: Support new product introductions, innovation launches, pilot trials, validation batches and commercialization.
  • Capacity Expansion & Capability Development: Identify constraints and plan capacity expansion; work with SUIT on capability initiatives.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track KPIs (OEEs, OTIF, wastages, safety).
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with Planning, SUIT, Procurement, CQA, Finance & Logistics; manage suppliers and OEMs.
  • Safety, Health & Environment (SHE): Promote safety culture and compliance; lead risk assessments and mitigation.

Position Title : Assistant Process Manager – HC Liquids

Location: Amli / Silvassa

Purpose of the Role

To manage and develop contract manufacturing operations by ensuring supply reliability, quality compliance, cost optimization, capacity enhancement, and seamless execution of business priorities. The role acts as a key link between internal stakeholders and contract manufacturing partners to deliver operational excellence and customer service objectives.

Key Deliverables
  1. Contract Manufacturing Operations Management
    • Manage end-to-end operations across assigned Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
    • Ensure achievement of production, quality, safety, and delivery targets.
  2. Supply & Service Excellence
    • Deliver agreed production plans while maintaining high service levels and OTIF (On-Time In-Full) performance.
    • Coordinate with Supply Planning, Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing teams to ensure uninterrupted product availability.
  3. Quality & Compliance Management
    • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, GMP, regulatory requirements, product safety and audit protocols.
    • Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality incidents and process deviations.
    • Support internal, external, and customer audits at contract manufacturing sites.
  4. Cost Optimization & Productivity
    • Identify and implement productivity improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
    • Drive value engineering projects related to manufacturing processes, packaging, and material optimization.
  5. Contract Manufacturer Relationship Management
    • Build strong partnerships with contract manufacturers and key stakeholders.
    • Drive capability building and performance improvement programs at CM sites.
    • Ensure alignment of CM operations with organizational objectives and standards.
  6. Innovation & Technology Deployment
    • Support execution of new product introductions, innovation launches, and product change projects.
    • Coordinate pilot trials, validation batches, and commercialization activities.
  7. Capacity Expansion & Capability Development
    • Identify capacity constraints and develop plans to support future business growth.
    • Work with SUIT team on capacity expansion projects and capability enhancement initiatives at contract manufacturing sites.
    • Drive manufacturing readiness for new technologies and product categories.
  8. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
    • Track manufacturing KPIs including: OEEs, OTIF, Wastages, DPMU, Safety Metrics
    • Analyse operational data and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
  9. Stakeholder Management
    • Collaborate closely with: Planning, SUIT, Procurement, CQA, Finance & Logistic teams
    • Manage external stakeholders including suppliers, OEMs, and contract manufacturers.
  10. Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
    • Promote a strong safety culture across contract manufacturing operations.
    • Ensure compliance with all SHE standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Lead risk assessments and drive implementation of mitigation measures.
