BDO India is seeking an Assistant Manager in Transfer Pricing based in Pune. The role supports advisory engagements, APA coordination, and TP documentation, requiring 3+ years of Indian TP experience.

The candidate will conduct benchmarking studies, prepare submissions, and interact with clients and authorities while contributing to knowledge sharing and training within the team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Indian Transfer Pricing.
• Experience in advisory engagements, APA processes, and TP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in advisory engagements ranging from business model optimization, legal matters, TP methodologies, business restructuring, cost allocations.
• Assisting in APA program phases including coordination with clients and APA authorities.
• Preparation of transfer pricing reports and contemporaneous documentation.
• Filing accountant's reports in Form 3CEB for cross-border transactions.
• Conducting benchmarking studies using Indian/foreign databases.
• Drafting submissions and appeals to tax authorities.
• Representing clients before ITAT and HC with seniors.
• Representing clients before tax authorities and appellate bodies.
• Assisting BEPS-related compliance and advisory.
• Researching transfer pricing issues from litigation standpoint.
• Effective project and client management, and knowledge sharing.
• Preparation of presentations for training and eminence building.
• Knowledge sharing and team-building activities.

Experience: 3+ years in Indian TP

Role & responsibilities:

• Assisting in advisory engagements ranging from business model optimization, legal matters, TP methodologies, business restructuring, cost allocations etc.
• Assisting in various phases of Advance Pricing Agreement program including coordination and Liaoning with the client and APA authorities
• Preparation of transfer pricing reports to be maintained as contemporaneous documentation.
• Preparation and filing of accountant's report in Form 3CEB stating the cross-border transactions.
• Conducting benchmarking studies using Indian / foreign databases.
• Drafting of submissions, appeals, etc. to be filed with the respective tax authorities.
• Assisting in representing seniors / counselling clients before the ITAT & HC.
• Representing clients before the tax authorities and appellate bodies.
• Assisting in compliance and advisory arising from BEPS initiative.
• Research and analysis of the transfer pricing technical points from the litigation standpoint.
• Effective project management, client management and time management.
• Preparation of presentations for knowledge building, training programs and eminence building activities.
• Knowledge sharing and imparting training to team members and team building exercises.
