Job summary

Vlcc is seeking an Assistant Manager in Finance & Accounts in Gurgaon. You will manage TDS calculations, returns, reconciliations and ITC, while ensuring GST compliance and audit readiness.

The role covers tax provisions, MIS reporting, ERP accounting support, and month-end close activities. B.Com/M.Com with 2–5 years in taxation is preferred, CA Inter/CMA Inter is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.Com or M.Com degree required.
• CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
• 2–5 years of taxation and compliance experience.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax.

Responsibilities

• Calculate, deduct, and deposit TDS; file quarterly TDS returns.
• Reconcile TDS ledgers and Form 26AS; issue TDS certificates.
• Prepare and file monthly/annual GST returns; reconcile GST data; ITC verification.
• Coordinate with auditors; prepare tax MIS and management reports.
• Assist in month-end/year-end closing; support tax provisions in ERP.

Job Description Assistant Manager

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reporting To: Manager – Finance & Taxation

Location: Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities:

• Calculation, deduction, and deposit of TDS as per applicable provisions.
• Preparation and filing of quarterly TDS returns.
• Reconciliation of TDS ledgers and Form 26AS.
• Issuance and management of TDS certificates.

Indirect Taxation (GST)

• Preparation and filing of monthly and annual GST returns.
• Reconciliation of GST data with books of accounts.
• Verification and reconciliation of Input Tax Credit (ITC).
• Ensuring compliance with GST laws and regulations.
• Handling GST notices, assessments, and departmental queries.

Compliance & Reporting

• Maintain tax records, challans, and statutory documentation.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits and assessments.
• Prepare tax-related MIS reports and management reports.
• Track changes in tax laws and ensure timely implementation.

Accounting Support

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support finance team in tax provisions and reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate accounting of tax transactions in ERP systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) / M.Com.
• CA Inter / CMA Inter (preferred).

2–5 years of experience in taxation and compliance.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
• Good understanding of accounting principles.
