Role name and description

Assistant Manager – An Assistant Manager will spear head teams of Analysts and Seniors and be responsible for client service delivery for a geography, area or specialization. Reporting into a Manager or Senior Manager, they will assist the management team in developing and coaching team members as well as ensuring that resources are deployed effectively.

Your key responsibilities

• Effectively communicate in Japanese language with the offshore teams and bridge the communication gap
• Establish and maintain long-term relationships with the clients and internal colleagues

• Supervise day to day operations and engagement milestones with little or no manager involvement

• Help Senior Managers and Managers with advisory and ad-hoc projects

• Identify opportunities to leverage information and resources across assignments and teams

Skills and attributes for success

• Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in tax technical knowledge
• Communicate effectively, being able to adapt communications to target audiences and interacting effectively in person, by phone and in writing
• Japanese Language certification preferred

To qualify for the role

To qualify for the role, you must have Postgraduates preferred. Ideally, you’ll also have Basic MS office knowledge.
