Job summary

RTX, One of the world’s leading aerospace and defense companies, invites applications for a Supplier Quality role in Bengaluru. The position requires strong supplier quality management, APQP, AS9102 FAI, and SAP QF skills, with a focus on continuous improvement in a hybrid work environment.

The candidate should have a mechanical or electronics engineering background with 7–10 years of experience, familiarity with Six Sigma, and excellent communication and analytical abilities to collaborate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electronics) with 7–10 years of experience.
• Experience with Six Sigma and quality assurance in aerospace/defense.
• Working knowledge of Quality Function – Aerospace / Automotive.
• SAP – Quality Function T-Codes and FAI as per AS9102.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes supplier quality data and recommends implementation of supplier planning, strategy, work transfer, metrics and escape management.
• Supports analysis to reduce risk across the supply base and supports strategic projects.
• Guides root cause analysis & problem solving (Red-X & 8D) in escape management procedures.
• Supports supplier qualification, work transfer, monitoring and development, product safety and APQP.
• Drives continuous improvement and sustainability within Supplier Quality and the supply base.
• Reviews processes and metrics to ensure supplier capability for work transfer and change management through APQP.

Overview :

Support of Supplier Quality processes and strategic initiatives to ensure that the quality of Collins’ suppliers’ products is compliant with internal and regulatory standards . Supports supplier quality strategic initiatives related to prevention, monitoring, escalation, and processing of supplier nonconforming material. Supports supplier onboarding, process changes and work transfers. Supports source inspection and material release processes. Proactively supports the Collins supplier programs to ensure healthy continuous improvement and sustainability. Analyzes quality data to identify systemic issues, and develops and implements supplier quality strategic initiatives. Ensures that supplier is capable to meet all contract requirements through the use of APQP.

Job Responsiblities:

Qualifications You Must Have

Experience in:

• SAP - Quality Function T-Codes
• FAI as per AS9102
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a global team environment.
