You will oversee ISCR, CCTV, access control, and predictive intelligence, while driving continuous improvement and team development in a high-stakes port environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in security management in industrial or port environments.
• BCA/MCA/LLB or PCI certification as applicable.
• Strong leadership and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of security automation equipment and ISCR standards.
• Manage Integrated Security Control Room (ISCR) operations including CCTV and access control.
• Conduct security risk assessments and address audit findings with mitigation plans.
• Coordinate crises and incident response with relevant teams.
• Aggregate and analyse security data to improve visibility and decisions.
• Monitor local news and weather for predictive intelligence related to port ops.
• Plan and execute security automation projects to minimize risk.
• Introduce new technologies to reduce human intervention and costs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with government bodies and crises coordination.

Job Purpose: Head of Section - Security Automation oversees automating security processes, making data-driven decisions, and implementing group security automation standards at sites in line with the Head Office team. This role enhances security, improves efficiency, and reduces operational costs by leveraging advanced technologies and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities

Security Automation Management:

Oversee the operation and maintenance of security automation equipment, ensuring systems function optimally and align with group security automation standards.

Integrated Security Control Room Operations:

Manage the Integrated Security Control Room (ISCR) operations, monitoring the site through CCTV, access control systems, GPS tracking, and other security automation tools.

Security Risk Management:

Perform comprehensive security risk assessments, address audit findings, and implement mitigation plans to reduce vulnerabilities.

Crisis Response:

Ensure prompt and appropriate action in response to crises and incident response issues at the site, coordinating with relevant teams for efficient resolution.

Security Data Analytics:

Aggregate and analyze various types of security data to improve visibility and support informed decision-making.

Predictive Intelligence:

Monitor local news and weather conditions relevant to the business or port operations, utilizing predictive intelligence to anticipate and prepare for potential impacts.

Risk Management:

Conduct site security risk assessments and plan security automation projects to address identified risks, minimizing potential security threats.

Innovative Technology Integration:

Introduce new technologies and automated processes to reduce human intervention and operational costs, while enhancing security measures.

Regulatory Compliance:

Address compliance issues highlighted by external government bodies, ensuring the site meets all security requirements and coordinates effectively during crises and incident response situations.

Continous Improvement Process:

Develop and implement automation solutions that address security concerns and support business operations, acting as a catalyst for business growth and operational excellence.
