Job summary

WNS Global Services is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to build and run the Azure-based data platform. You will set up and maintain cloud environments, networking, identity and security services for Azure, Databricks and Snowflake.

You will work on Terraform/Bicep IaC, Azure DevOps pipelines, and monitor costs and security in a regulated financial environment. This role requires 4–5 years of cloud infra experience with at least 2 years on Azure.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of cloud infrastructure experience.
• At least 2 years on Azure platform.
• Hands-on setup of Databricks or Snowflake on Azure in production.
• Degree in engineering or computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Azure environments for development, test and production.
• Configure networking for Azure, including private endpoints and connectivity to Databricks/Snowflake.
• Manage Databricks workspaces, clusters and Unity Catalog more broadly.
• Configure Snowflake accounts, warehouses and network policies with the data eng team.
• Manage identity and access using Entra ID, PIM and federated access.
• Manage keys and certificates in Key Vault and HSM.
• Set up monitoring and alerting with Azure Monitor.
• Provision infrastructure as code with Terraform or Bicep via Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Support Azure Data Factory integration runtimes, API Management, Service Bus and Functions.
• Track platform costs and apply tagging and usage policies.

Cloud Platform Engineer

We are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer with 4 to 5 years of experience to build and run the Azure platform behind an enterprise finance data platform on Azure, Databricks and Snowflake. You will set up and maintain the cloud environments, networking, identity and security services that the data and reporting teams depend on.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Azure environments for development, test and production
• Configure networking, including virtual networks, private endpoints and private connectivity to Databricks and Snowflake
• Set up and manage Databricks workspaces, clusters, cluster policies and Unity Catalog metastores
• Configure Snowflake accounts, warehouses, roles and network policies with the data engineering team
• Manage identity and access using Entra ID, PIM and federated access for delivery teams
• Manage secrets, keys and certificates in Key Vault and HSM
• Set up monitoring and alerting in Azure Monitor and respond to platform incidents
• Provision infrastructure as code with Terraform or Bicep through Azure DevOps pipelines
• Support Azure Data Factory integration runtimes, API Management, Service Bus and Functions
• Track platform costs and apply tagging and usage policies
