Context/Scope: The Supplier Experience Team is responsible to ensure that Source To Pay processes (including Purchase to Pay and Procurement Operations) are working effectively & efficiently, are well controlled and drive value for Diageo, also ensuring control agenda (SOX compliance) across all areas as well. This role is part of the Supplier Experience Team and reports to the Sourcing Manager- Procurement Operations. This role acts as the interface between GBO & Procurement community (accountable for the purchasing strategy) ensuring Diageo buys the right goods and services from the right supplier at the right price. This is an Assistant Manager-Source to Pay role which will directly support the Global and Regional Category Procurement teams, STP systems support and suppliers. Advanced prior experience and understanding of sourcing and contracting processes and practices is essential.

Responsibilities The Sourcing Expert would be expected to be responsible for: Execute Complex sourcing projects of categories/sub-categories to include:
Should prepare TCO & negotiation scripts and negotiate with suppliers, makes recommendations, helps on-board, qualifies, and contracts with new vendor and ensures compliance. Analysing and calculating procurement costs and developing cost reduction strategies, supporting negotiating contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality Collaborating with the multiple cross-functional teams & functions to identify and pursue new supplier & cost opportunities to drive purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends/benchmarks. Provide expert advice to Various functions, Global Procurement teams and business users on tender/RFP and eAuction process, strategies and leveraging on Coupa/CSO & digital sourcing functionalities and eAuction formats to achieve optimal sourcing project outcome. Manage project allocation, support team members during kick off meeting and share best practices. Identifying & driving the opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives to drive process improvement & efficiencies, drive productivity & cost saving targets.
Purpose of Role The Sourcing lead will be expected to Manage and optimize functional sourcing support activities while ensuring adherence to Diageo standards. Provide necessary information input to GBO & different stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to apply and translate business expertise to breakthrough thinking that significantly impacts the Diageo’s long-term strategic position, thought leaders. Monitoring sourcing performance satisfaction, drive productivity & cost saving targets ensuring all SLAs accountable for are met and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Optimize procurement processes, perform regular reviews of established procurement processes to ensure continual improvement.
