Job summary

Vidal Health Insurance is hiring for a Medical Officer-Assistant Manager (non-clinical) to join our IPD Claims team in Jaipur. The role requires handling processing, verification, and settlement of claims, plus responding to customer inquiries.

Immediate joiners preferred; candidate must work from office at Sodala, Ajmer Road. Ideal candidates have 3–6 years in TPA/health insurance, with BHMS/BAMS/BDS/BUMS qualifications.

Qualifications

• 3–6 yrs of experience in TPA or health Insurance industry.
• Experience in IPD claims/reimbursement desirable.
• Good communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and settle claims with verification and settlement with customer accounts.
• Evaluate customer/claims and post accordingly.
• Resolve claims-related queries and discrepancies; follow up via email.
• Approve/reject payments to customers after verification.
• Update customers on claim status and progress.
• Act as intermediary between insurer and customer.
• Prepare weekly team reports for management.
• Handle and respond to customer queries via email.
• Raise shortfalls when necessary.
• Ensure all checks and verifications are completed before finalizing claims.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Processing of Claims with verification and Settlement with Customer Accounts.


• Evaluation of customer/Claims and posting accordingly.


• Resolving Claims related queries and discrepancies Follow up and respond to queries of Customers.


• Approving and Rejection of Payments to the Customers with all verification.


• Updating the Status of the Customers about the respective Claim.


• Play as an intermediate role between the Insurance co., and Customer.


• Handling Customer queries and giving a prompt reply to the customers through email.


• Preparing the Weekly consolidated reports of the team and updating to the Management.


• Assigning and Resolving Customer Queries through email.


• Raising Shortfall whenever it is necessary.


• Approving and Rejecting of Claim after all necessary checks.

3-6 yrs of experienced candidate should be from TPA or Health Insurance Industry
