Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager – Mechanical & Civil will oversee mechanical and civil maintenance activities, project execution, and design work. The role requires strong technical knowledge in both domains and proficiency in CAD software for preparing and reviewing engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance & Operations
    • Supervise preventive and breakdown maintenance of mechanical and civil infrastructure.
    • Ensure optimal functioning of equipment and structural assets.
  • Design & CAD Work
    • Prepare and review mechanical and civil drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
    • Support layout planning and design modifications for projects.
  • Project Management
    • Assist in planning and execution of mechanical and civil projects, including installations and renovations.
    • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for timely completion.
  • Compliance & Documentation
    • Maintain records of maintenance schedules, drawings, and project documentation.
    • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Team Leadership
    • Guide technicians and junior engineers in mechanical and civil tasks.
    • Conduct training on CAD tools and safety practices.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 4–6 years in mechanical and civil maintenance or project management.
  • Technical Skills
    • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) for mechanical and civil design.
    • Knowledge of mechanical systems, structural design, hydraulics, and construction practices.
    • Familiarity with CMMS and project management tools.
  • Soft Skills
    • Strong leadership and coordination abilities.
    • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
