Job summary

Bunge seeks an Assistant Manager - Maintenance to lead maintenance and reliability for the Kandla plant on site. You will oversee engineering maintenance, capital projects, regulatory compliance and team development.

You will monitor asset uptime, energy management, and cost controls while coordinating with production and utilities to ensure safety and compliance. BE/B.Tech in Mechanical is required with 10+ years in FMCG/food manufacturing.

• Ability to manage capital projects and drive safety and regulatory compliance.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.

Role Purpose Statement

• Position has overall responsibility for Maintenance/Reliability of plant.
• Covering engineering maintenance on site, capital projects, compliance with regulatory standards, recruiting train-build his team.

Main Accountabilities

• Set and monitor the performance of the all engineering services against standards and support to achieve targets in areas such as asset uptime, operating efficiency, energy management, cost control, statutory compliance
• Key person responsible for PM pillar activities/High performance teams Objectives in his function.
• Ensure the ARROP activities happen inside the plant and ensuring the availability of all the equipment’s all the time.
• Exposure required in Boilers, Water Treatment Plant, cooling towers, RO plant, Ammonia compressors, Pumps, Air compressors, Margarine plant, Pouch Machines, Refinery, gear boxes, Oil yard, Acid Oil Plant, Physical Refinery & CRU area, Air conditioning systems, and DG.
• Critical Support for execution of the manufacturing project according to strict deadlines and within budget. Manage project dependencies and critical path and lead his sub-team.

Knowledge and Skills

• Use knowledge of Bunge’s business, structure and strategy to develop innovative solutions to improve results or eliminate problems.
• Build partnerships, appropriately influence to gain commitment, foster talent and coach others to grow in current or future roles..
• Drive results through high standards, focus on key priorities, organization, and preparing others for change.

Technical

• Strong working experience in 10+ years direct work experience in Maintenance reliability functions of large scale FMCG / Food manufacturing including sound knowledge of Engineering basics
• Strong familiarity with project management software, such as MS Projects and knowledge in Latest Automation software & systems.
• Knowledge of time-based maintenance and condition-based maintenance of all Equipment’s in refinery, packing lines and utilities.
• Familiar with all statutory regulations with respect to plant maintenance

• B.E. / B.Tech - Mechanical Engineering
