GlobalLogic islooking for an experienced and proactive Assistant Manager – Project & Product Operations with 9+ years of relevant experience to manage multiple projects and work closely with Product Managers/Project Owners. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SOP creation, workflow management, process improvement, team management, and performance monitoring.

The role requires a product-oriented professional with strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day project operations, developing and maintaining SOPs, collaborating with product stakeholders, addressing product-related queries, and driving team performance.

Requirements

• 9+ years of relevant professional experience, preferably in Project Management, Product Operations, Technical Project Management, or IT Operations.
• Proven experience working in the IT/technology sector.
• Strong product-oriented mindset with experience working closely with Product Managers or Product Owners.
• Hands-on experience in SOP creation, workflow management, process documentation, and process improvement.
• Proven experience in team leadership, people management, or supervisory roles.
• Strong understanding of performance metrics, KPIs, and team performance management.
• Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse, collaborative, and cross-functional environment.
• Proactive approach with the ability to identify process gaps, trends, and opportunities for innovation.

• Educational background in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Job responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and day-to-day operations in close collaboration with Product Managers and Project Owners.
• Create, maintain, and continuously improve SOPs, workflows, and process documentation for projects.
• Identify process gaps and proactively recommend solutions and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Respond to and resolve product-related queries and operational issues.
• Create an open and collaborative team environment with clear communication and defined goals.
• Delegate tasks, establish priorities, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Monitor day-to-day team operations and ensure adherence to defined processes and workflows.
• Track team performance and prepare/report key performance metrics and KPIs.
• Identify training and development needs and provide coaching and guidance to team members.
• Support performance management and drive continuous improvement within the team.
• Encourage innovation and proactively identify trends, user issues, and opportunities for improvement.
