Job summary

ITC Limited – Foods Business Division (24 Mantra Organic) is seeking an Assistant Manager – Finance to drive financial planning, analysis, and performance management with a focus on sales. You will partner with Sales and cross-functional teams to analyse revenue, margins, budgets, forecasts, and receivables, providing insights to support strategic and operational decisions.

The role requires 2+ years in Finance within FMCG/manufacturing and strong MS Excel skills for reporting and dashboards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in Finance / Business Finance / Sales Finance.
• Exposure to Sales Finance, Revenue Analysis, Profitability Analysis, MIS, Budgeting, and Receivables Management.
• Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, Consumer Products, or similar industries preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, variance analysis, budgeting, and business performance analysis.
• Experience working closely with Sales and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to independently handle reporting and analysis with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse sales revenue and performance against budgets and targets.
• Prepare and present Sales MIS, financial reports, and management dashboards.
• Analyse revenue, margins, profitability, and trends across products, customers, regions, channels.
• Track budgets and forecasts against actual performance and prepare variance analysis.
• Review sales-related expenses, discounts, schemes, rebates, and incentives.
• Prepare customer-wise, product-wise, and channel-wise profitability analysis.
• Monitor receivables, collections, outstanding balances, and credit exposure.
• Coordinate with Sales and Business teams for collection follow-ups and resolution of financial and commercial issues.
• Support the annual budgeting process, periodic forecasting, and monthly business performance reviews.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales and financial data to management.
• Identify key variances, financial risks, and improvement opportunities and highlight them to the management.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to support commercial and operational decision-making.
• Maintain and improve MIS reports and financial dashboards to support regular business reviews.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial and sales-related data.
