Responsibilities

• Support the Manager Direct Taxation in execution and control of all direct-tax activities.
• Includes income-tax computation, advance tax, TDS/TCS compliance, reconciliations, tax audits and assessments.
• Prepare notices, litigation documentation and tax MIS as needed.
• Independently handle assigned direct-tax activities and supervise executives where applicable.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion, escalate material issues to the Manager.

Role Purpose

To support the Manager Direct Taxation in the execution and control of all direct-tax activities, including income-tax computation, advance tax, TDS/TCS compliance, reconciliations, tax audits, assessments, notices, litigation documentation and tax MIS.

The Assistant Manager should independently handle assigned direct-tax activities, supervise executives where applicable, ensure accuracy and timely completion, and upscale exceptions and material tax issues to the Manager.
