Job summary

EXL in India seeks an experienced finance professional to manage financial reporting and close activities for the corporate finance function. You will draft quarterly and annual statements, and handle monthly and quarterly close cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Knowledge of GAAP (IFRS, Ind AS or US GAAP) is advantageous, with focus on derivatives, leases, and share-based compensation. Prior experience with regulator developments and financial statement analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial reporting and technical accounting for the corporate finance function.
• Be responsible for drafting of quarterly and annual financial statements i.e., 10Q/10K.
• Be responsible for monthly and quarterly closing activities.
• Should have understanding of accounting topics, such as, derivatives, leases, share-based employee compensation.
• Abreast with the latest developments on accounting and reporting aspects from regulators, such as FASB and SEC.
