Job summary

Adani Group in Korba District, India seeks a civil engineering professional to lead project planning and execution from initiation to commissioning. The role requires 4–8 years of progressive project management experience with proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of progressive civil engineering project management experience.
• Experience in the Power/Energy sector preferred.
• Proficiency in civil design software and drawing reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning from initiation to commissioning ensuring timelines, quality and budget adherence.
• Oversee site activities, safety, construction methods and environmental compliance.
• Review and approve civil drawings and specifications; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and suppliers to align resources with project needs.
• Implement QA/QC procedures and conduct regular inspections to meet quality standards.
• Assist in cost estimation, budgeting and monitoring expenditures for resource optimization.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure progress.
• Maintain project documentation, reports, and audit-ready records.
• Foster stakeholder collaboration among project teams, clients and regulatory authorities.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies and construction methods.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and site staff.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution: Lead the civil engineering activities from project initiation to commissioning, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.

• Site Management: Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring safety protocols, construction methods, and environmental standards are strictly followed in alignment with Adani’s safety-first culture.
• Technical Supervision: Review and approve civil engineering drawings, designs, and specifications, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and industry best practices.
• Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure material procurement, resource allocation, and work execution are aligned with project requirements.
• Quality Assurance & Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to ensure all civil works meet the highest standards of quality and durability.
• Cost Management: Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and monitor expenditures to optimize resource utilization without compromising quality or timelines.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to civil construction activities and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project progression.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports, compliance records, and technical documentation to facilitate transparency and audit readiness.

Education Qualification
