Qualifications

• Experience in blasting and painting within shipbuilding, heavy engineering, or a similar industry.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory role managing cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience coordinating surface treatment processes and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the blasting and painting activities across hull fabrication stages, ensuring alignment with project schedules and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to interpret specifications for surface treatment, ensuring blasting and painting meet design and quality standards.
• Implement rigorous quality control standards throughout the blasting and painting process, conducting inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
• Manage resource allocation for blasting and painting, optimizing labor, materials, and equipment to meet production targets within budget constraints.
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations across all blasting and painting activities, ensuring safe working conditions for team members.
• Identify areas for process improvements within blasting and painting operations, implementing best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
