Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our Data and Operations team within the GAC division. The ideal candidate will possess a strong finance background, proven people management experience, and expertise in automation tools and technologies. This role will involve overseeing data operations, managing the team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytical services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple operation support teams/groups for a range of data/content management activities.
- Ensure team members comply when conducting data/information collection through thorough knowledge of guidelines, policies, and research tools.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity through cross‑collaboration and Agile methodology.
- Manage the performance review process, career guidance, and talent development.
- Leverage emerging technologies (Python, SQL, Power BI, GenAI, PYSPARK) to enhance data processing and reporting capabilities.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet established standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Drive data quality and governance through proactive issue resolution, diligent monitoring of data lineage and rules, metadata management, and collaborative engagement with stakeholders to implement efficient solutions – familiarity with DAMA-DMBOK, SIX SIGMA, RCA techniques, etc.
- Nice to have: Experience with data cataloging tools such as Collibra, Alation, Azure Data Catalog.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of semantic technologies (RDF, RDFS, OWL, SPARQL) foundational for building ontologies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferably in finance or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in data operations, analytics, or finance, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and data management practices.
- Proficient in automation tools and technologies, including Python, SQL, Power BI, and GenAI.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure deliverables meet established standards and stakeholder expectations.

- Not appeared for CRISIL test / interviews in the last six months.
