Orion Educational Society (OES) is looking for an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager Partner Liaisoning & Monitoring to lead partner relationship management, project monitoring, and performance oversight across its CSR skilling projects.
The incumbent will be responsible for managing relationships with corporate CSR partners, funding agencies, government stakeholders, and other relevant institutions, ensuring the effective execution of projects in line with agreed objectives, contractual commitments, timelines, and performance indicators.
The role requires a strategic and result-oriented professional who can strengthen existing partnerships, facilitate project renewals and extensions, identify opportunities for project expansion, and ensure transparency, accountability, and quality in project implementation. The incumbent will work closely with internal functional teams and project leadership to ensure achievement of training, certification, placement, and other agreed project outcomes.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. CSR Partner Relationship Management & Liaisoning
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned CSR partners, corporate representatives, funding agencies, and other external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships with corporate CSR teams, foundations, implementation partners, and relevant institutions.
- Understand partner expectations, contractual obligations, project objectives, deliverables, and reporting requirements.
- Conduct periodic partner meetings, project reviews, and performance discussions to ensure transparency and maintain partner confidence.
- Proactively address partner concerns, resolve operational issues through internal coordination, and ensure timely closure of commitments.
- Maintain regular communication with partners regarding project progress, achievements, challenges, corrective actions, and future plans.
- Strengthen partner engagement to support continued association, repeat projects, renewals, and expansion of existing partnerships.
2. Project Monitoring & Performance Management
- Oversee the performance and implementation of assigned CSR skilling projects across multiple locations and centres.
- Monitor project progress against approved proposals, work plans, contractual deliverables, budgets, timelines, and agreed KPIs.
- Review mobilization, enrolment, attendance, training completion, assessment, certification, placement, post-placement tracking, and retention data, wherever applicable.
- Establish and implement systematic monitoring mechanisms, review frameworks, dashboards, and escalation processes.
- Conduct regular field visits and centre inspections to assess operational effectiveness, training quality, infrastructure, documentation, and compliance.
- Identify performance gaps, implementation delays, risks, and deviations and ensure that appropriate corrective action plans are developed and implemented.
- Work closely with Centre Managers, Project Managers, Operations Heads, and functional teams to improve project outcomes and delivery standards.
3. Contractual Deliverables, Project Renewals & Partner Retention
- Maintain a comprehensive tracker of project agreements, contractual deliverables, reporting schedules, project milestones, and agreement validity.
- Monitor project timelines and initiate discussions well in advance for contract extensions, renewals, and continuation of ongoing projects.
- Coordinate with senior management and relevant internal teams to prepare project performance summaries and supporting documentation for renewal discussions.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships through additional centres, new geographies, increased training capacity, and new skilling initiatives.
- Ensure that partner commitments are fulfilled within agreed timelines and that potential risks affecting renewals or future business are escalated promptly.
- Maintain a strong focus on partner satisfaction, project credibility, delivery quality, and long-term institutional relationships.
4. MIS, Reporting & Management Information
- Ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive submission of periodic reports, MIS, dashboards, and project updates to CSR partners and senior management.
- Review data submitted by project centres and functional teams for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and supporting evidence.
- Prepare management review presentations covering project achievements, target variances, placement outcomes, financial or operational concerns, and corrective action plans.
- Ensure proper documentation of partner communications, approvals, meeting minutes, project photographs, success stories, beneficiary records, and other relevant evidence.
- Establish accountability for timely data submission and follow-up on pending information from project teams.
- Present consolidated project performance updates and recommendations to senior management.
5. Government, Regulatory & Institutional Coordination
- Coordinate with relevant government departments, sector skill bodies, assessment and certification agencies, and other institutional stakeholders, wherever applicable.
- Facilitate project-related inspections, reviews, assessments, audits, and stakeholder visits.
- Support coordination and documentation relating to NCVET, NSDC, relevant awarding bodies, and other applicable skilling-sector institutions, subject to the requirements of individual projects.
- Ensure that project activities and records are maintained in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, scheme guidelines, contractual obligations, and organizational policies.
- Track changes in relevant skilling-sector guidelines and communicate their potential implications to senior management.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination & Operational Excellence
- Work closely with Operations, Training, Placement, MIS, Finance, HR, Mobilization, and other departments to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Facilitate timely resolution of interdepartmental dependencies affecting project performance and partner commitments.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews with project teams and ensure accountability for agreed action points.
- Coordinate with the Finance Team on project-related financial documentation, utilization reports, and supporting records, wherever required.
- Collaborate with the Placement Team to monitor employer engagement, placement outcomes, joining status, and post-placement retention.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance monitoring effectiveness, reporting quality, operational efficiency, and project delivery.
7. Business Development & Partnership Expansion
- Identify potential opportunities for new CSR skilling projects, additional project phases, geographical expansion, and continuation of existing initiatives.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective corporate CSR partners, foundations, and other relevant institutions.
- Support senior management in preparing project proposals, concept notes, presentations, capability statements, and performance credentials.
- Participate in partner meetings and presentations to communicate OES's project capabilities, achievements, and implementation strengths.
- Maintain a structured database of existing and prospective partners, ongoing engagements, proposals, follow-ups, and renewal opportunities.
- Collaborate with management to convert successful project delivery and demonstrated outcomes into opportunities for sustained partnerships.
8. Risk Management, Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Identify and elevate risks relating to project performance, partner dissatisfaction, non-achievement of targets, documentation gaps, and delayed deliverables.
- Ensure timely closure of observations raised during partner reviews, internal assessments, and external audits.
- Monitor adherence to project-specific guidelines, approved processes, reporting requirements, and quality standards.
- Ensure appropriate records and supporting evidence are available for partner verification, audits, and management review.
- Promote a culture of accountability, transparency, timely execution, and continuous improvement across project teams.

Educational Qualification & Experience
- Postgraduate degree in Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related discipline; relevant professional experience may be considered.
- Minimum 1012 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in CSR project management, skill development, livelihood initiatives, education, or the development sector.
- Demonstrated experience in managing corporate CSR partners, institutional stakeholders, and multi-location projects.
- Prior experience in partner relationship management, project monitoring, contractual deliverables, MIS, and management reporting.
- Exposure to government-supported skilling initiatives, NSDC/NCVET-related frameworks, assessment and certification processes, or placement-linked projects will be an advantage.
- Experience in project renewals, partnership expansion, proposal development, and stakeholder presentations will be preferred.
- Willingness to travel regularly to project centres and partner locations.
