Qualifications

  • Able to handle multiple tasks and stay organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team responsible for financial reporting, AP, treasury and AR.
  • Work with the US and India teams to bring functional expertise and improve processes.
  • Accountability for daily accounting across North American entities, including cash management, A/R, A/P, month-end and year-end closing.
  • Ensure accuracy of all transactions so the company’s financial position is reflected accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with US state and federal government reporting and tax filing requirements.
  • Maintain controls and act as custodian of compliance, developing corrective actions for audits.
  • Drive automation and use of technology across finance operations.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring deadlines and audit requirements are met.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes as needed.
  • Conduct in-depth financial statement reviews and prepare reports for decision-making.
  • Act as primary liaison with banks to ensure smooth treasury operations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to accounting staff; foster excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and systems.

The Controller is a key leader within the Finance organization, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations across North American operations such as , financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance for the company. This role ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial information, supports strategic decision-making, and drives continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.

Job Responsibilities

To lead the team responsible for the areas of financial reporting, AP, treasury and AR. Working with the team in the US and in India to bring in functional expertise and improve processes.

  • Accountability for the organization’s daily accounting functions across multiple North American legal entities, including cash management, A/R, A/P, month-end, and year-end closing processes across multiple legal entities.
  • Ensure accuracy of all transactions so that the company’s financial position is accurately reflected.
  • Ensure that the Company is in compliance with the US state, and federal government reporting and tax filing requirements
  • Responsible for controls across the organization and custodian of compliance developing management action plan to ensure successful audit
  • Driving automation and use of technology across finance operations
  • Assist with internal & external audits, ensuring adherence to deadlines and compliance with audit requirements.

Qualifications & Pre-Requisites
  • CPA / CA with minimum 10 years in accounting with relevant experience
