Purpose of the Job

The purpose of the job of an internal auditor in a firm is to evaluate and assess client’s internal control systems, risk management processes, and financial and operational procedures to provide assurance to client that the organization’s assets are being protected and used effectively and efficiently. The internal auditor's role is to identify potential risks and recommend improvements, ensuring that the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

Work Responsibility

• Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of the organization’s internal controls and risk management processes.
• Review and evaluate financial and operational procedures, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Identify and recommend areas for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Prepare audit reports in PowerPoint and present findings and recommendations to senior audit manager or partner.

Technical / Functional / Soft Skills Required
