Job summary

AECOM India Pvt Ltd seeks an Assistant Engineer to join the Building Structures team in India. You will contribute to challenging building projects across global offices and develop technical expertise within a supportive, high-performing team.

The role requires 3–6 years of Civil Engineering experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in BIM and related software is preferred, with exposure to international projects and standards.

• Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering and 3–6 years of Civil Engineering experience; strong communication and ability to work independently.

• Should be knowledgeable in building design services, associated regulations and technical standards.

Job Description

We are seeking a Assistant Engineer to join our Building Structures team in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated engineer to contribute to impactful building projects across global offices and continue developing their technical expertise in a supportive, high-performing team.

• Should be knowledgeable in building design services, associated regulations and technical standards.
• Capable of working on as own initiative, as an overall responsibility and accountability for assigned work.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering degree (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. Applicants must have between 3-6 years of experience in Civil Engineering, Middle East/US/UK experience, which would be desirable but are not essential. Good communication skills, and ability to work well independently at times
