We are seeking an Assistant Engineer – Assembly to take a lead, multi-skilled role in Mark VIe control cabinet assembly, wiring, testing. This position contribute to building Mark VIe cabinets and provide technical guidance and day-to-day leadership to the production team being part of HPT, drives troubleshooting and problem solving, and helps deliver on safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.

Lead and perform Mark VIe cabinet assembly, wiring, and electrical device installation Work multi-skilled across assembly, testing, sub-assembly, and maintenance support Troubleshoot wiring, assembly, and test issues and drive root cause and corrective actions Provide technical guidance and leadership to HPT members on the shop floor Plan and manage daily production to meet output and FPY targets (95%+) Coordinate with warehouse and CFT for materials, quality, and machine maintenance Ensure job quality, maintain tools and machine health, and support audits and inspections Drive Kaizen and continuous improvement, support EHS programs and raise concerns proactively
The ideal should have hands-on experience with Mark VIe cabinet assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting
First-class Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering 5-7 years of experience in engineering/manufacturing, including control cabinet assembly and wiring Hands-on experience with Mark VIe cabinet assembly, wiring, and troubleshooting Strong ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, BOMs, and specifications Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a production environment Experience leading or coordinating production teams on the shop floor HPT set up High levels of personal integrity and safety mindset, able to work on feet for extended periods
