Job summary

Nexdigm (SKP) in Mumbai is seeking a technically proficient TDS/TCS specialist to support clients with compliance, filings, and certificate generation.

You will work under Chartered Accountants, handle TRACES notices, and collaborate with clients to ensure accurate tax computations and timely submissions. Proactive learners with basic tax knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in TDS/TCS matters, including returns and certificates.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under supervision of Chartered Accountants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file certificates under section 195 including 15CA/CB forms.
• Compute monthly TDS/TCS liability for clients.
• Handle notices from TRACES and related queries.
• Assist in preparing and filing income tax return forms and Form 3CD.
• Coordinate with clients and support senior Chartered Accountants.
• Assist with administration and deputation at client locations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Your job responsibilities will include,

• Accounting under Tally/ Miles/ or other software.
• Responsible for preparing certificates under section 195 of the Income tax Act (preparation and filing of 15CA /CB forms);
• Understanding the documents provided and getting the required documents for determining appropriate tax rate;
• Computing monthly TDS / TCS liability for clients;
• Handling routine TDS queries related to resident payments raised by the clients;
• Preparation and filing of quarterly TDS/TCS returns (24Q, 26Q, 26Q, 27EQ), corrections of TDS/TCS returns;
• Generating and issuance of quarterly TDS / TCS certificates
• Handling notices from TRACES;
• Assistance in preparing and filling tax audit report in Form 3CD;
• Assistance in preparing and filling income-tax return forms for clients;
• Supporting the team in handling work under supervision of Chartered Accountants;
• Coordination with the client, if required
• Administration matters including documentation
• Deputation at client location as and when need arises.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Should have effective communication skills;
• Extensive experience in TDS/TCS matters- should be able to work around Oracle and SAP system for TDS matters like TDS returns, TDS certificates, understanding TDS notices;
• Keen in supporting growth of the team and handling work under supervision of Chartered accountants;
• Basic tax knowledge;
• Willing to learn with Easy grasping power.
